Ants:-
Ants are the most numerous insect on the planet. They do have a job to do in our environment so as long as they aren’t upsetting our living environment they are not a pest and there is no need to eradicate them until they do. There are many different species and there habits differ greatly.
So we will touch on a few you may come across in our daily lives.
Green Ants:– Sitting on the grass in Queensland is near impossible and often a painful experience.
You will see large sandy hollows in the lawn areas, between pavers and in gardens.
They have a burning sting that will last 10-15 mins.
These are one of the easiest to treat and the treatment will last up to 3 months depending on environmental conditions.
Black House Ants:– These are the ones you find in the kitchen eating the smallest of scraps, out of the dog/cat food, tracking around the kitchen or just trailing around anywhere there is a food source.
